#75 Terry Steinbach

CHASING :  to cause the removal of (a baseball pitcher) by a batting rally,
:  to swing at (a baseball pitched out of the strike zone)

I was ready to blow Steinbach out of the water and mention that he was the later, that he struck out a lot.
Didn't realize he is a .271 career batter...not too bad.
Although he struck out 17.5 percent of the time ranking him 931st on the all-time strikeout percentage list,
I'll let him off the hook.

1988 All Star Game MVP

Won the World Series with Oakland in 1989.

  1. A few years ago, the A's celebrated their all-time "Oakland" roster and selected Steinbach as their catcher. He was solid for the Athletics.
